After all she's been though, at the very least she deserves some new shoes. Besides, she kind of enjoys watching wives give their husbands a dirty look as she cocks her leg just so, making a show out of examining her footwear, before turning to the poor man and asking: ]

[There's a look of relief on her face. This wasn't like those uneasy conversations with the other witches and wizards during the New Year Ball.]

Oh, MAN I could use a good pair. I brought a lot of my stuff over after I moved out of my dad's place, but I outgrew some of my best ones.

Um... you're okay with shopping with me though? I mean I guess Miss Steinbeck must have told you about me...

How do you guys know about each other? She doesn't like hanging out with a lot of people at least from what I've seen. That or she's super picky.

First of all, I am always okay with shopping. Second, we sort of met by accident, but we're good friends now.

I think those would look good on you. You have like, model legs.

You'd have to be hard-pressed to find a pair of shoes that don't look good on me. It's a curse.

Well... I kind of wanted the red ones, but I think red might be too flashy for me?

[ She looks her over for a moment ] I think purple.

[ She seeks out a cute pair of dark purple shoes ] Give these a try.

[She takes them and proceeds to try them on while continuing the conversation]

So Vegas is your home right? Is it always really loud every night?

Loud? Not really, but my place has good soundproofing.

The seniors at my high school talk about driving down here to party so I figured it was really crazy.

My dad and I drove around a lot since we had to move frequently, but I never got to check out Las Vegas much.

[griffonix]

[She finishes putting on the shoes and twirls around looking at them.]
