[ Just an average Saturday night at the Griffonix. Of course that means it's fairly busy, but not unmanageable. There's a nice, relaxed atmosphere, and most patrons are familiar enough with the place that if they do have to wait, they don't mind it. People are making conversation over the music, and Madigan herself is behind the bar.

The bar is fairly busy as well, but she's got a good handle on things. Not that she isn't grateful for a sudden lull. It gives her a chance to catch her breath. ]

[There's a lot to think about and a lot to take into consideration. Amelia's said it before; she doesn't find herself attracted to women, but Madigan had always been that exception, most importantly on an emotional level.

And for once it wasn't about how Amelia thought she didn't deserve this. Rather she was thinking about what Madigan wanted.

[ WELL, of all the questions in all the world, she had not expected that. Suddenly she was a teenager again, being asked out by the high school crush she never had.

It was a wonderful, beautiful, amazingly simple question. ]

[SOB, this is embarrassing, that's what, even though Amelia is pretty happy right now. But of course she'll kind of babble]

[OKAY SHUT UP GIRL, so she hushes up, but takes a hold of Madigan's hand]

[ Madigan curls closer to Amelia- to her girlfriend?- fingers lacing with hers. ]

That's all I can ask of you.

I know this may come as a shock, but I've never done this before.

Really? Actually... well. I can imagine why.

[She smiles tenderly at her]

I seem to be the epitome of rule breaking. [She chuckles.]

[ Is it time for a kiss? It must be. She tugs Amelia closer, planting a quick, surprisingly chaste kiss on her lips. ]

[Slow and steady is just enough and really, all she wants. She kisses back gently just thinking it's all too good to be a dream.]
