[She's dreaming.]

[It's not something that happens very often. And she's usually thankful for that. Usually. Because her dreams don't typically entail anything good. But this time?]

[This time there's music. Very upbeat music. That's new. She's okay with that.]

[... And then Jacob saunters out. Dancing. Singing. Yeah, Kara's pretty much not sure what the hell she's seeing right now, but it's... sort of cute. Sort of, really cute. And in the end, she starts enjoying what she's seeing. The dream, and her nap, is over all too soon, because the sun starts poking her in the eye.]

[She pushes herself up onto her elbows, and, for a minute, debates planting her face back into the pillow for an encore.]

[ Today we find ourselves just outside the apartment of one Jacob Randall. There is an attractive young woman at the door, toting a suitcase and wearing shorts that are probably a little too short. Someone walks by as she's about to knock, pausing to clearly check out her ass. She raises an eyebrow at them, and they continue on their way.

Now she knocks. Auntie's here to see you, Jacob! ]

[Following this, this and this...

The scene hasn't changed a whole lot. There's still a redhead curled up in someone else's bed. She has the blankets piled on, even if the weather isn't all that cold, and looks to be hiding under them.

The pile of discarded magazines, tissues, and even a plate or two, indicate she hasn't left said bed in some time. Nor does she appear to be doing so any time soon. It was one thing to pretend you were fine while you got abducted, locked up, and tossed around -- but it was another thing entirely to actually be. Especially when you spent the next few hours wandering around in your own head.

One of the magazines is unceremoniously tossed to the floor, and she curls back up with a blanket over her head.]
